About Max's

From an early age, Ed has been devoted to the study of plants. He truly enjoys working with them. Even after a long day as a landscaper, he still finds time for his own gardens, where he recreates small scenes from the natural world he cares for so deeply. His long study has granted him expert knowledge about the flora, native and invasive, of the Northern Illinois area. Ed has received certification in the Naturalist program at Morton Arboretum. He has lent his skills to programs of both the Audubon Society and the Sierra Club. He continues to act as a docent on nature excursions for a variety of groups, including people with special needs.
